Now, when I hear all the excuses from bikers of why it would destroy triathlons, I just smile. They, IMO, are not try triathletes. Meaning, most of them cannot swim worth beans. Now, if you really wanted a fair sport, wetsuits and skinsuits would not be allowed. Always interesting the bikers do not complain about wetsuits which make swimming mean nothing, like they try to say drafting on the bike they say makes the bike mean nothing.

Oh well, there is no business reason to change, and our sport is all about money. Unless races stop filling up, let the folks who do not like drafting quit, there are MANY more waiting to take their places, and will not complain.

Daveh2ofunhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13141192659644456739noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1758090575418482333.post-25730385488732635722008-11-29T19:15:00.000-08:002008-11-29T19:15:00.000-08:00Thanks, JBI agree - 4 minutes in a 9+ hour race. What do you think.

SFSteve Fleckhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09323624438361035624noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1758090575418482333.post-91065235033139974172008-11-29T15:06:00.000-08:002008-11-29T15:06:00.000-08:00What a nice summary of drafting. By the time you get caught, you likely have done it a hundred times already. Also, I think anyone caught drafting does NOT qualify for Kona, whether AG or pro. That would get someone's attention who is one of your "blatant" type cheaters who is cheating for an edge rather than preferring to suffer in a group and come in at 13+ hours!Unknownhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11620011800263003993noreply@blogger.com
